19 Dec - Celebrating Festivities Good Evening Fellow Toastmasters and guests! On Tuesday we celebrate our last chapter meeting of the year where we reflected on the past year (2017) - what we achieved / have not achieved as well as refocus for the New Year (2018), all while basking in the warm Christmas Spirit! Ice Breaking Hence, our chapter meeting kick-started with a short sharing about what we love about Christmas. While we all had different answers, we had one thing in common - Christmas is a great break from our busy bustling lives! TM Rajesh with the Opening Address Toastmaster Rajesh, acting Club President, gave an opening speech about how we must learn to enjoy the process and encouraged guests to take up Toastmasters as an opportunity to improve their public speaking skills. Good evening fellow Toastmasters (' TM '), guests and all! The meeting kicked started with a quick ice breaker with our TME Wen Zhong, where we all warmed up with one another. Most of us answered this simple, yet important question - Why we want to be here, in Toastmasters. Yes, we may be unique individuals with different goals in Toastmasters, but all of us could agree on one thing - we all want to be a better speaker, leader or thinker. Ice Breaking!  We had many awesome project speeches that week, 5! - TM Wai Kay, TM Vincent Chua, TM Marcus Ong, TM Peter Lee and TM Sajeev. Our first speaker, TM Wai Kay, worked on "Innovative Planning" L1P2 under the Pathways Programme. He shared a short, intriguing story about cats and dogs, why cats hate dogs and the retrieval of a special ring. 3 October 2017 - Mid Autumn Festival

A warm welcome to fellow members and guests who joined us in our meeting in our warm comfy club on Tuesday, 3 October! There was an amazing turn out this meeting, which filled our session with vibrant stories and interesting tales. In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival which was the next day, VPE Wen Zhong kick started our meeting sparked off with an ice breaker session, sharing about what we loved most about Mid-Autumn Festival. Most of us expressed our love and craving for the delicious delicacy – moon cakes, some of us relished in nostalgia, sharing about childhood memories of lantern and playing, and few of us indicated our lack of enthusiasm for the festival.
