A night of fun (19 Feb)
It was a night of fun that evening. We had a mix of great mix of visiting toastmasters, friendly guests and of course, our very own members.
SAA, Chiew Ping, kicked off the meeting with a interesting ice-breaker. She asked about what we did with our Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration for this year. There were a lot of eating, gambling, visiting and more gambling. Of course, all gambling in the spirit of CNY. :)
This evening was also Chiew Ping's first opening address as acting Club President because our President, Alvin was not around. She shared about the Chinese culture lion dance and how having a good team work is essential even for a performance like lion dance.
We had a total of 3 speakers for the evening, Vincent Tatan from Whampoa Toastmaster Club doing Project 6 and new members Chun Kwang and Fion doing their Project 1.
Vanessa took on the role as Table Topics Master and she had prepared an interesting theme of transport related articles. Some of the volunteers who took up the challenge below.
