This evening's chapter meeting is a special one. It marks the beginning of our 6 month education workshop to help members become better speakers on stage. It's been conducted by Christina, our club advisor, who has wealth of experience in the area of public speaking and won numerous public speaking awards. She has training background as well and has coached many in the field of public speaking.

Chris was also kind enough to give a trial out sessions for all guests and members as well. Pictures of some brave souls who went on stage to apply what they had learned.

To top it up, we've visiting guest from Siao Yan, from Toa Payoh South Toastmaster Club and Thorsten from toastmaster club in Germany! Sadly, it's also the last meeting of Rick's. He would be taking a break for a while due to work commitment. He mentioned that this evening's was his first time receiving a ribbon after being in the club for so long. This goes to show that so long as you're willing to put in the effort, the prize will come!
