2 Oct 2012 Meeting
It was a special chapter meeting as it was Braddell Heights Toasmasters Club 22nd Birthday! Happy Birthday, BHTMC1!
Sidenote: For those who didn't know, BHTMC1 was established on 1 October 1990. Since then, hundreds of men and women have walked through the doors of Braddell Heights Toasmasters Club 1. All of them have gained greater confidence as a speaker, listener and leader.
That evening, we had 1 guest and 1 visiting Toastmaster (John Sih) and 8 members at the meeting. It was a cosy meeting with 3 prepared speakers (Kendra, Clifford & Kelvin), many table topic speeches (thanks Lydia for the topics) and a sharing on the COD in Speeches where we also learnt how to identify possible speech topics.
Congratulations to our best table topic speaker and evaluator, John and best prepared speech speaker, Clifford. Well done, guys!
Would also like to thank our first timers for a wonderful job done:
Of course, not forgetting Chiew Ping for being our lovely TMD.
At our next meeting (16 Oct), you will be picking up more tips from Chris on what are the things to look out for in P2 and P3. So do remember to join us at our next meeting.
