Final Exco Mtg cum Crab Session! (12 June)

Finally it's time to hand the reigns over to the new team! Most of the current exco members are excited & elated (probably because it's more of a makan session than an exco meeting :)

It's a pity we didn't get to take much pictures, only some photos of us posting as ads for the coffeeshop vendor. Well, it's always good to share good food with the public too!

So many crab shells!! :)


Everyone was thrilled with their specialty salted egg crab! Just look at those smiles & you can tell how satisfied we are!

Tonight’s meeting was packed to the brim, with only a few empty seats dotting our usual meeting venue. We had the strict but humorous Fernando Young kickstarting tonight’s meeting with the ice-breaker question that was quintessentially in Fernando’s style: What do you love or loathe most about Fernando Young? The crowd was simultaneously tickled and energized by this topic. Off to a good start, the next item on the agenda was the introduction by our club’s very own Vincent Chua. He was the Toastmaster of the Day and he explained the different segments in a typical Toastmaster Chapter Meeting and its benefits, as well as the various appointment holders and the purpose that they serve. 3 October 2017 - Mid Autumn Festival

A warm welcome to fellow members and guests who joined us in our meeting in our warm comfy club on Tuesday, 3 October! There was an amazing turn out this meeting, which filled our session with vibrant stories and interesting tales. In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival which was the next day, VPE Wen Zhong kick started our meeting sparked off with an ice breaker session, sharing about what we loved most about Mid-Autumn Festival. Most of us expressed our love and craving for the delicious delicacy – moon cakes, some of us relished in nostalgia, sharing about childhood memories of lantern and playing, and few of us indicated our lack of enthusiasm for the festival. Games Night (4 Sept)

This evening's session is both interactive and refreshing. Instead of our usual chapter meetings, we played games instead. Feedback from the audience was that they had a wonderful time that night! During the first segment, we played Bingo as our ice-breakers. Our task is to go around the room and find people who fits the description of the things in the respective boxes and fill up their names. The first three to complete a straight line would win some prizes. We then moved on to 3 station games. One station deals with facial expression, another is word game Boggle and last one is about food (after all, we're in Singapore, how can we miss out on this? :) Quick snapshot of the participants playing games.
