The Reason They Meet (02 May)
It was a fine Tuesday evening. This group of people could have been anywhere, but guess where they choose to be? Let's start with the first speaker, Jeffrey. Jeffrey shared about his passion that most boys (and men) love. It's an activity where 22 men on a field chase after a ball. And yes, if you were thinking about that, you're right. It's soccer. He shared about why the game is so interesting and how he was hooked onto this sport. The second speaker, Wen Zhong, did a presentation on "Recognising Misleading Graphs & Statistics". He took on the role of a Maths teacher and shared with us how statistics could be skewed, warned us the possibilities of biases and how we can be more wary of them. He had much to share that he went slightly overtime.
