Respite in Oct (5 Nov)
This is the first meeting of the month. It felt like a while since last month; our second meeting in October coincided with a public holiday. As many couldn't arrive on time due to the heavy downpour, the meeting had a little change in program.
We had table topics first instead as our first item of the evening.

Chiew Ping attempting table topics.
Jeffery, a visiting toastmaster, having fun.
Henry, a member, also trying out.
Gerald, the last contender for the evening.
Following next is prepared speech. This is where speakers who had spent precious time & effort to prepare their speech present their masterpiece to us. First up is Zaki, a visiting toastmaster. His speech was very entertaining, light-hearted and enriching. He had embedded message within this humourous speech, be your own self instead of following others. He was also very well prepared with props, dressed up aptly for the occasion and finely crafted his presentation skills.

Next up is Pei Zhi. She charmed the audience with her story despite that she's doing her Project 7

The final speaker is Mike. Similarly, he's doing his Project 7 and he shared his story about how he can help us solve 2 major problems in our lives, living too long and dying too early.

In order to improve, we also had evaluation segment. This is where the more experienced toastmaster will give their feedback to the speakers on their strengths and areas of improvement.
First is Vincent evaluating Zaki (no photo), followed by Jeffery (left) and Siao Yan (right). Both Jeffery & Siao Yan are visiting toastmasters.

Of course, how can we forget our enriching and educational segment by Christina, our club advisor.
We also had the honour of having Rebecca, our Area Governor to give us some feedback about our program flow for the evening.
Last but not least, our winners for the evening!
