Awards Night (1 Oct)
This evening's chapter meeting is one filled with pride, joy and happiness in the air. That's because we've received our official ribbon from Toastmasters International for the recognition of President Distinguished Club award. Our President holding the official ribbon from TI. Of course, we must not rest on our laurels. We continue to work hard preparing for next year too. We have a total of 3 speakers for the evening. Christina, kicked off the meeting. She explained the overview of the Toastmasters to new guests and led the audience on to the program of the evening. First up is Melissa; she just joined us last month and this is her maiden project. Despite her being fearful of public speaking, she had overcome her fear by taking it one step at a time. The trembling was obvious to the front people, but she kept her nerves and continue speaking.
