Booster Crowd (19 Mar)

A small crowd need not mean it's going to be quiet night, at least this evening's chapter meeting's crowd have proved that point.

Vanessa kicked off the meeting as SAA with her always interesting topic for ice-breaker. The audience responded well and was quite warmed up by the topic.

This evening was also Chiew Ping's second time giving opening address to the club as President Alvin was away. She has gradually grown to become a more confident speaker in this toastmaster journey.

Mike was the first speaker for the evening. He was doing Project 2, Organization structure. He shared about his personal experience about different categories of people.

The second speaker is Vincent, doing AP3 from Technical Manual. He shared about his Final Year Project and how bus bunching (meaning buses of same services coming together at bus stop) affects our daily lives as well as the waiting time.

The third speaker is Johnathan from Temasek Poly.

He was doing an Advanced Project on Entertaining Manual. He shared about his "Razor Blade" experience with a girl and garnered laughter from the crowd.

The following segment is Table Topics and for the first time, we had a flood of enthusiastic volunteers for Table Topics. Probably because the appoint holder was Chiew Ping. :p

And it's also our first time having a Caucasian as our Language Evaluator for the evening. Matt featured below as our Language Evaluator.

Last but not least, some awards to our Best Evaluator and token of appreciation to our appointment holders. Sadly, because Vincent went over time, so there's no voting for Best Prepared Speaker.

Do come down and join us at our next meeting to enjoy a night of fun, insightful and beneficial meeting!
