Cozy Meeting (6 Nov)

This evening's meeting was a cozy one. We had the honour of having our old member and past President, Victor Tay, coming back to join us. Also, we'd a guest from Cheng San CC.

Daniel Kwek from Cheng San CC

The meeting kicked off with Vanessa as the SAA for ice-breaker session. Vanessa has been earmarked as one of the best SAA who creates interesting topic for people to get to know one another better. The topic we had that evening was "If you're given the chance to have a special ability, what would it be?"

It's topic like this that really opens up ourselves and allow others to know what you're thinking and some of the personal challenges which we're combating. A fun and interesting topic to kick start the evening.

The meeting then moved on with 2 lovely speakers, Vicky and Lydia (below).

Vicky doing her maiden project. The surprising part was she did it with great confidence without any notes on hand! Absolutely impressive!

Lydia also impressed us with a course on using our thumbprint to identify our different characteristics. Very intriguing notion. Not only does it saves up much time on doing diagnostic tests, it also gives accuracy of up to 90% or higher!

We also had Clifford, our Table Topic Master, who surprised us with his interesting quotations and his life experiences that started with letter D, words like delight and many more.

Of course, how can we let off our ex-member at a chance at such topics? :)

Taking a shot at the very tough but intriguing topic!

Chiew Ping giving her shot at the topics too.

Not forgetting our VPE, Alvin. Having a good laugh with him at this provocative topic.

And we mustn't forget our friend from Cheng San.

After the break, we moved on to evaluation where evaluators give constructive feedback to the speakers to help them improve.

Daniel giving his evaluation to Vicky on her speech.

Vincent giving his evaluation, which ran a little overtime.

Since there were only 2 speakers and evaluators, there was no voting best speaker or evaluator. But we've our amazing Vanessa who walked away with the Best Table Topics for the evening!
